Your provider holds you back.
We don’t.

Most of our Quebec City clients come from Bell, Vidéotron or Cogeco. Here are the three reasons that come up every time.

With the cable co.
With Méridien Connect

The bill that keeps growing

“Promotional” price the first year, surprise hike the second, modem rental fees on top.

Fixed price, period

Fixed installation price announced upfront, Starlink monthly plan at the public rate. No rentals, no surprises.

24-month commitment

Leaving early? Cancellation penalties. The contract protects the provider, not you.

No contract, ever

Monthly plan, no commitment. Pause, cancel, restart — you decide, right in the app.

The internet stays home

Your connection is tied to your address. At the campground or the cottage: nothing, or one more plan to pay.

Yours follows you

Camping, RV, cottage: the same dish and the same account travel with you, anywhere in Canada.

Why Starlink

Fibre speed, without the cable.

Starlink’s low-earth-orbit network delivers a stable, fast, low-latency connection — even where Bell, Vidéotron and Cogeco don’t reach. Here’s what changes in practice.

Honest comparison

Starlink against the rest.

Starlink Fibre DSL / cable LTE

Low orbit, real responsiveness

Starlink satellites fly at 550 km — about 65× closer than traditional satellite. The result: latency comparable to fibre, perfect for video calls, remote work and online gaming.

Where fibre will never reach

Forest cottages, remote farms, country roads: if you can see the sky, you have internet. No waiting for the utility pole to come down your road.

Built for Quebec winters

The dish melts snow, handles −30 °C and keeps signal through storms. We pick the mount angle to limit ice and blowing-snow build-up.

Mobile if you are

RV, boat, jobsite: with Starlink Roam or Mini, the service follows you. Pause, restart, move — no hidden fees, no new contract.

Goodbye one-year contracts

Monthly plan, no commitment. Pause the service at the cottage for winter, restart in spring. You keep control — not the cable company.

One visit and you’re online

No technician coming back twice. We assess, install, configure, test — and leave you with a connection that works the first time.

Services

Clean installation,
wherever you are.

From remote cottage to farm building, we mount the dish in the right spot, seal cable runs, and configure the router — no surprises.

Residential

Suburban or rural homes. Roof, soffit, wall mast — clean and waterproof installation.

Winter? Handled.

The dish clears its snow
all by itself.

A heating element is built right into the Starlink dish. As soon as snow accumulates, snow-melt mode kicks in automatically and the surface clears itself — no ladder, no broom, no thinking about it.

And because a heated dish isn’t enough if the mount is wrong, we pick the angle and location to limit ice and blowing snow, anchor into the structure and seal every cable run. Tested in our storms, not in California.

Built-in heater Automatic snow-melt Works at −30 °C
No strings attached

Your internet goes on vacation
with you.

With the Roam plan, the connection isn’t tied to an address: it follows the dish. One bill, one account, and the service pauses when you don’t need it.

Frequently asked

Everything you need to know before you call.

Do I need to have already ordered Starlink?

No. We can place the order in your name and have the kit delivered to your home or to our shop before the install.

How long does a typical installation take?

Between 1.5 and 4 hours depending on the mount type. We book a clear time window and call 30 minutes before arrival.

What about winter — snow and ice?

The Starlink dish is built for Quebec winters and melts snow on its own. We pick the mount angle to limit build-up and shelter it from heavy frost when possible.

Does the dish really heat up to melt snow?

Yes. A heating element is built into the dish and “snow-melt” mode triggers automatically when it detects build-up. Nothing to activate, nothing to shovel — the surface clears itself, even at −30 °C.

How do I get out of my current contract?

Check your commitment end date: cancellation penalties shrink every month and hit zero at the end of the term. Bring your bill to the quote — we’ll work out together whether to leave now or wait a month or two. And after the switch, never a contract again.

Can I really bring it camping?

Yes. With the Roam plan, the connection follows the dish anywhere in Canada — campground, RV, cottage, boat. The Mini dish fits in a backpack and runs on 12 V; we set up the RV kit if needed. Back home, everything carries on as before.

Is the service really bilingual?

Yes, fully. Visits, quotes, support and documentation are all available in French and English.

What speeds can I realistically expect?

Typically 100–250 Mbps download and 20–40 ms latency depending on local congestion and sky-view. We test on site before leaving.

Ready to plug in?

Goodbye Bell, Vidéotron and their contracts.

Order, get it installed by Méridien Connect, pay the first month — and enjoy fibre speeds, anywhere in Quebec. Monthly plan, no commitment.
